Why are photos important (to me)
Sometimes the mind slips and memories fade.
Photos are forever.
My favorite memories are sitting with my nanny every weekend and going through the plethora of photos she had of people she held dear to her.
I got to learn stories of people I'd never meet but their legacy got past down nonetheless, with photo evidence!
Sadly, she did go on to pass from dementia, and her mind did fade. But her photos or a song could always bring her back. I carry that tradition on now with my kids and hope you will too.
My goal with photography is to freeze time, capture memories, and make people feel as beautiful as they are.
